A Prophetic Word for Fathers raising Children with Special Needs

In parenting single handedly it is often mothers who are known to take on the full responsibilities in the absence of a father. Whether as a single father, you find yourself single for whatever reason.  I bring a word that the Lord gave me for single fathers raising children with special needs. For some this is rare and unheard of because the majority of fathers left single will remarry and have helper, but things may not be so clear cut for the single father.

It is hard enough raising children but those with special needs need significant amounts of  maternal attention lets add that, love conquers all as a parent. It is the first and most important spirit in raising children and young ones.Your precious children strive because of your resilience, inner strength, hard work, patience and high levels of tolerance. You have take both the maternal and paternal responsibilities. Yours is more than the double responsibility.

The Lord has a heavy burden for you, you are not forgotten!. In the area of friendships, relationships and marriage you shall not lack in Jesus name The Lord shall not bypass your commitment to your children and young ones with special needs. You shall see your work and reap the rewards of your work by seeing fruit in your children. Whichever way, that fruit shall come whether its your child's milestones or developments or your personal growth as a father. Your selfless commitment to your family will not go without reward in the sight of God.  Let it not be said, arent you the father? You choose to standby your families in a time when mothers are raising children single handedly. It takes the love of God within you. I celebrate you today.

2 Corinthians 6:18: "  2 Corinthians 6:18: "And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty." Psalm 103:13: "As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. 

Heavenly father, 

I thank you for the selfless fathers worldwide, I ask that you strengthen your sons even as you give them wisdom to raise their children and especially their daughters. Raise helpers for them in all areas in Jesus name.

Berthsheba's Silence - Inner Healing Implications for Women (Shaming shame) Updated Post

What will people say? Shame conjures up alot of emotions in people. Anything that does not work in life can lead one to feel ashamed. So why does it make people feel diminished?. The Lord reveals that its the flesh!.

For sometime now, I kept thinking about Berthsheba and her relationship with King David, what her relationship must have been like after she was lured to King David’s chamber, raped,got pregnant her husband and the baby died. She had a second son King Solomon. Spoken of well widow of Uriah whom she was thought to have indirectly plotted the murder of with King David to conceal her sin.

Lets face it, those were very traumatic experiences, however we never hear of Berthsheba’s life much after these trauma’s. Berthsheba was also the mother of King Solomon. Therefore a prominent women in her times. Could her position have led her to hide her ordeal. To protect King David's reputation. Ignore her own emotions?.

A brief look at her life that is available to us tells us little of how a woman in her predicament will have dealt with pain in her times.* Did she get any counselling if there was n informal way of counselling how did she deal with her pain?. Well we might never know.

However, I sense that Berthsheba like any woman simply did nothing. Like many women, not much time is taken to gain inner healing. That Berthsheba told David t find a way of hiding her sin meant there was no way she felt accepted. She was shamed if anything and the instruction to David was just a way of cover from shame.

Dear women,

This same thing is happening today, Berthesba hid in shame, and many women today are following her footsteps. You see shame hinders healing. (I have a short video on this). We will never know what went through Berthsheba’s mind in that marriage unplanned and forced marriage with David. A woman going though her kind of trauma would be able to tell a story of her pain. Some have gone as far as asking if Bersheba was an adultress. How does a woman lured to a mans bedroom become an adultress. The judgement is harsh, David it is known paid the price but the upholding of David is far greater than the blame. We still see this today. You see, much blame is still very much apportioned on women then and even today when rape, separation, divorce or adultery occurs,

It is such a deep blame that this scripture say’s, - Deuteronomy 22 verses 23 to 24 - ”If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife". You must purge the evil from among you.

Okay, Berthsheba was not married and not virgin and did not scream for help does not make her an adultress!. Berthsheba’s apparent silence may have began an unwitting conditioning in women to keep silent about their inner emotions with little or no support and act like everything is well.

On the other hand, Tamar (2 Samuel 13:1-22) spoke out and fought back against his step brother Amnon who tried to rape her and her full brother Absalom tried to silence her. We see silence running deep here. All actions being taken due to shame. Shame is fleshly and we can see shame is conditioned and still rife in society today.

You see, the judgement of man is truly harsh but we are told, Matthew 7:1“Do not judge so that you will not be judged”. No judgement from men is worth paying attention to than the consequences of covering shame which.

Today, led by the spirit ”I speak and pray over any woman who may be fearing judgement and condemnation that you shall not continue to live in silence over fear of judgement and shame. Release your trauma and speak out in Jesus name. This spirit is parading around trying to keep people in bondage. When its recognised it, it must be fought to release God's people. God word is already clear!. There is nothing Jesus himself never experienced and does not understand.

Dont let the burden of shame arising from what has happened to you intimidate you dear woman arise from the spirit of shame.

Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit"

Blessed In The City!

It may reach a point in life when it seems like a turn of life events subjected one to a standstill, making it challenging to move fully into what we believe God has in store for us. In areas of career, vocational purposes and even in service to God.

Many of us came to be in the lands we are in for different reasons and in many ways. For some the decision was taken by family members for us. For many it may have been for political or economical reasons. It's not why and how however, more importantly it is that we settle and be blessed where we are.

Whatever the reasons we are in a land or city, God says, Deuteronomy 28:3, You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

For some, life events are such that we may feel we are held back or unable to move fully into that which God is calling us into. Well the scripture God gave me tells me that wherever our paths are directed and wherever I find myself, there my blessing will be. He has placed you in those specific places ready for your careers. callings, gifts and purposes. Wherever he tells you to go, may be the next place you are to be blessed.

There are some asking themselves whether there is any more room time or opportunities for them in that city. The Lord is making it clear. He says, in Jeremiah 29 :11 "The thoughts I have for you are that of For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".

I sense that many feel they may have not reached their full potential in life. Over a year ago, I had a dream where I saw myself catching a great deal of fish. (This dream is partially revealed here).

The fish were so many I could hardly contain them. I began to disperse the fish in the locality I was in. And that locality is real life. The dream took a lot of prayers and meditation to understand. I believe abundance will rise from where many are settled

Revelation of our direction in life can rarely and fully come from anyone but God. In prayer he is the revealer of your future. Ask him, go with the right heart, righteousness and seek him. It's all within you. If you feel rejected somewhere, maybe it's for a reason and God wants you to get guidance from him. That rejection may be for your direction.

Trials/Affliction An attack on the Christian and Jesus's response to overcome

Brethren, numerous trials in one's life are so frequent and severe that leave question marks all over their being. Many Christians have undergone a series of attacks from fellow Christians leaving them to feel discouraged, down-ridden, isolated, and rejected.

Parhaps some afflictions have come about from wrong choices, spiritual attacks, or even witchcraft. We cannot run away that the enemy is looking for who to steal kill destroy and mark it, he is ruthless, especially to the Christians who are prayerful and connected to Chris in spirit and in truth.

John 10:10 The enemy comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Many would directly or indirectly imply that one's life is undergoing trials is directly because of unrighteousness. Really? Let us gain wisdom and clarity with levels of understanding that God has bestowed us with.

Let us reflect on how many times Job was afflicted yet he had an exemplary life that was known to be in reverence to God.

Psalms 3:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all".

When people asked Jesus about whether the blind man's parents had done anything to for their son to be affected, He replied - John 9;3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. The Glory of God is being seen even today through how God himself may choose to manifest them.

There are numerous such examples such examples in the scripture.

When overwhelmed Jesus had to go into the spirit to overcome trials and temptations. The enemy mocked Jesus and tried to thwart the crucifixion for the forgiveness of sins. It had to happen, so it was not the enemy doing but God's. Perhaps you are being prepared for what God has called them into. And this season of affliction can be seen and treated as creating the new creature that is to overcome and testify to the world!

That which is an affliction today could be God's preparation for your calling.

A born-again Christian is a new creature. Ever thought about how a new creature has to overcome a series of attacks from predators and be protected by its mother?. That is what the enemy is doing to God's new creatures!.

Healing Accelerated - Giving An Apology Part 1

Its sound simple yet it could one of the hardest things to say or even receive from those who offended us or we offend. I am sorry is the start of an open conversation even in prayer with the Lord, so why is it so hard to say?.

Saying sorry does not mean you give up your wellbeing. You can say I am sorry from a distance and reclaim your wellbeing.

Healing Accelerated - Inner Healing

We speak significantly of physical healing but the Lord revealed to me there is an increased need for emotional healing. The Lord revealed that, accelerated healing is possible and it comes through immediate forgiveness and this needs to carry on through out life. It would be wrong to believe that once saved always saved but also once forgiven always forgiven? God is a rapid forgiver as soon as we forgive others he is instant to forgive us. Is it an easy teaching.no. By nature, humans can can hurt us throughout life, forgiveness becomes the essential key to healing.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and tender hearted to one another, forgiving each  other  just as in Christ God forgave you.

Whether a person was sorry or not, whether they are a Christian or not, it is crystal clear, the Lord want us to forgive them. 

Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 

We all have a person who may have hurt us in the past or present. Maybe we think we've forgiven them. Well you might have forgiven  but are they released from your spirit. Your reactions will tell you. Do you react negatively at the voice or the mention of their name.  

Their presence may irritate you. Its time to search deep. You may find unforgiveness may be still lurking.  You will be completely at ease and even be able to have a normal conversation. The Spirit cannot lie in this aspect. 

There was a time when I thought forgiveness was a process, but the Lord took me through an actual process of his own and showed me that, his own process was the right one, the only one and the one that would finally enable me begin a real and true healing process. 

The Lord showed me this scenario. If one was in court for whatever reason, you ever watched the programs of courts there will be free will to still forgive the offender, by choice, offender may not forgive you. When we turn to a jury to give a decision as to whether guilty or not. We are nothing to the jury they can shame you, expose you but God, he embraces you silently and washes you clean. So when we turn to God, we stand a chance of becoming a new creature and through total forgiveness old things have passed away 2 Corinthians 5:17. A chance to forgive sooner rather than later. We are the beneficiary of forgiveness. Being a Christian does not mean you have forgiven but you are forgiven so, refuse to be the one left walking in unforgiveness and the negative effects of it. you can do it not by power not by might but by Spirit says the Lord.

Prayer Point

Mark 11:25 And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well."

I encourage someone today to receive the benefits of forgiveness and mention a person or people and ask God to help you forgive them. "Oh Lord, create in me a clean and contrite spirit.  Give me a fleshy heart in replacement of a stony heart. A heart that enables me to forgive just as much as you came to wash me clean and forgave me for all my sins in Jesus name. Amen!

Tell the Lord the pain you endured and say, "Lord I thank you for helping me understand that, unforgiveness, is a hindering spirit that's is blocking me from my blessings and stopping me getting close to you" I can only forgive with your help.

 Lord, help me forgive ---------name them".  in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.

Say this upto 7 times.

Observe your heart and check how you are getting on continuously saying this prayer.

Arise and Say "Utter End"

 

A Blessed and Happy New Year to All!

The Bible says, "What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Job faced affliction continuously until God finally settled him over. he stood the test of time longsuffering, pain, shame, mockery. Which ones of these did the Lord not lift him out of.

Consider those words,- An utter end.

Pharaoh on the other hand harshened the labor of the lsraelites so much pushing them into one affliction after another.

Exodus 1:12, KJV: "But the more they afflicted more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel." The Egyptians became terrified of the Israelites who were conquering.

The question is what happens when affliction rises a second time or appears to rise a second time. It was continuing afflictions and hardship for the Israelites. But there was an utter end to it.

But more than this and conquering to this, lve come to realise that post some afflictions come many breakthroughs, and even blessings on the horizon that can also sometimes attract afflictions and contentions. Job did not stop seeking God even after his wife told him to curse God!.

Fasting and prayer are affliction breakers. Prayers bring affliction to an "utter end".

Growth can be a positive result from afflictions or adverse experiences we encounter. If we allow them to teach us, we grow. They can enable us grow into whom God wants us to be. Again, Its a continuing reminder that God surely has an utter end to affliction. This year has had its huge impact and afflictions have been many.

Despite numerous examples, we see in the bible of those whose affliction God brought to an an utter end, the word "affliction" remains a sensitive word to many. It is likened to reproach, shame and comes with several negative connotations. However, we may never understand some afflictions as God's people. Some afflictions come to grow us and God uses them positively to go on to multiply us in areas of our life.

There are many who through their afflictions grew and multiplied in the bible and in the world. We can think of many names and recall their stories and legacies.

Prayer point 2 Chronicles 7:14

Oh Lord, Help me arise and pray that you bring to an utter end the numerous afflictions that are ongoing in this world in Jesus name. I bring my family, leaders, workers in the frontline under the blood of Jesus. You have told us that, many are our afflictions but you deliver us from them all. A hedge of protection from. You is our plea in Jesus name. Amen.

Arise - The Lords Invisible Wall of Fire

Looking left and right these days, as the world gradually emerges from lock down, many will at one time or another wonder how we will continue to be protected from the rages of the Covid-19 and its effects on changes in the economy and everything around us.
There seems to be a trauma of lock down that has gripped many in thoughts and speech and l hear and understand that, but many are confessing with their own mouths the coming of a second lock down but lest we forget words are spirit, lets be quick to dismiss the negative. At times we are our own enemy with our words!.

Thinking about the past five months, I've asked myself and so might many of us every question regarding the future of businesses, employment, health, the society and impact on family and lives during and post lock down. Much pain has run under the water with lost lives and livelihoods. I believe firmly that, life is the key to rising hope. Amidst it all, there are still blessings around us and certainly new ways and ideas. He is the undercover and present shield.

God has us covered even from uncertain climates such as this. His the umbrella covering during this time.

The Lord reminded me in this scripture.

Zechariah 2 "For I, said the LORD, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the middle of her" .

The Lord instructed Nehemiah to built a wall to protect the people of Jerusalem shielding them from there enemies. Far from walls around us, his protection goes far deeper than the eye sees. Deeper than unseen enemies. The invisible protection of God is very alive today. His protection over us is mighty and even stronger than any physical fired walls because he is the one shielding us past the physical elements - it goes far deeper than the visible. That means that, our shut doors in our homes are good but the ring of fire is deeper and spiritually more necessary than the physical protection he blessed us with.

The Lord says, he is the unseen wall of fire around us protecting day in and day out. Glory to God! His plans for us shall manifest in Jesus name.

I pray that, the Lord's unseen and powerful protection continues over his people in Jesus name.

There is something In Your Hands (What Is In Your Hands)

 Just as we went into quarantine, I remember writing after hearing from the Holy Spirit that there were several garments he wanted us to wear during the quarantine and at a time such as this. Its been some months and for a reason, it's clearer. For many those garments were already on, they needed keeping on. Its clearer now why faith, peace, sound mind, and boldness were and will be necessary

moving on. Hope is rising too. Even in these challenging times.

I mentioned boldness in the previous writing in April. It's now clearer - because we need boldness and fearlessness to pursue those gifts, callings, and purposes. For many, it may be long overdue. Faith because with faith there is always hope. And sound mind as we thank God for keeping us through quarantine and to date in Jesus's name.

In a season of this kind of economy, the Lord has in store new opportunities in store. It will be necessary to look at what he put in our hands and how they can turn into and be of support to our families and communities. Old garments are becoming new. 

Isaiah 43: 19 - Behold I shall l do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it. I shall even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

The fearless who walk in faith will be the first ones to see changes.At times its even difficult to see the positive when so much evil is around. God is or continuing shield.Those that can take steps into and take risks and try new things. He,the Lord has already placed them in our open hands. The new things in your hands shall arise on numerous levels and possibly over new horizons and for some new lands. Places of origin and places they have a link to. This is one of the reasons why fear must not set in and boldness shall set in which some may be surprised about but because you have set your eyes on me, says the Lord in difficult times, I shall show you that, all you need to move forward is within you already. Hallelujah.

It will be necessary to retain peace of mind and refocus on this new thing.

Faithful God In All Seaons

Lamentations 3: 22 -23

 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases

    his mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;

    great is your faithfulness.

l know he is a faithful God and his faithfulness and mercies are great in times that look so dark and fearful. The good news is that, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."-Psalm 30:5
Iam always blessed by these verses. Tommorrow may be unknown to us but it is he who tells us to believe it in him. Is a new day and Jesus is Lord. lt sounds simple but powerful. ln all seasons in our lives and in whatever is taking place.
Right now, I feel assured that, it is the Lord who continues to preserve us. It is only he that can comprehend the pain of the current sudden losses and only he can comfort those who mourn.
I pray for the Lords healing touch during this extremely difficult time of fear,of economic uncertainty and even personal difficulties. The Lord is fully in control, even though it may not look like it.
All loss is painful, unexpected loss is even more painful and loss is generally not easy to talk about but each one us has ever been affected by loss.
Months ago, the Lord, l sensed was instructing me to write on dealing with loss.This was difficult and I felt very challenged at first until the Lord told me, "l  have prepared you to write it out". The result is that the write up came naturally over some months.

"Fear not", says the Lord. Its a command but how can we understand how not to fear especially atbtimes like this?. Even at times like this,I am convinced the Lord is in control. Over 80 times fear is mentioned in the bible.

lsaiah 43:1 “Don't fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.”

The Garment The Lord has Given Us In Battles

The Lord gave us his word during times of trials and tribulations.
We find ourselves needing peace more amidst all other trials. He knows everything that is coming and what we are going to be dealing with and feeling.
Luke 12:7  "Indeed the very hairs of your head are numbered. Dont be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows".

Right now, as we face a pandemic, the Lord is still reminding us of his word. Its not the time to focus too much on this pandemic because we as humans have all our reasons for it but he has given us all the necessary garments to cover ourselves with to battle through - spiritual garments.
From the scripture in Luke 12:7, I am strong in the spirit that this too shall pass and we need to focus on what is physically within our means and to lean on him. Fear is not  his chosen garment of us. You see, even as we prepare for whats ahead, his already ahead of us. The time is coming we will ask ourselves what garments we were wearing and who influenced them. I trust the Lord has the rightful spiritual garments. If we wear garments other than the ones he covered us with or chosen for us,then, we need to ask ourselves why we are holding onto those unchosen garments. Is it the garment of fear, anxiety,hopelessness?.We know our own garments.

Which garment are you chosen today?. He has given us numerous garments and covered us with the garments of boldness sound mind,the garment of unsurpassing peace,the garment of faith- halleluyah!  and he has said all we need to do is to keep our minds on him.

The Lord reveals that, during this time many will begin to question their purpose here on earth.
During the quiet time as l refer to it, I believe the Lord want us to focus or minds on him. Minds and hearts will be redirected to ask questions I believe.The Lord is looking for our hearts and our attention. As many that have are seeking or beginning to seek,I encourage you as the Lords servant to lean on him, even if you dont know him.

Hearing and Responding to the Inner Voice

Over four days ago, l started to think about my connections and how it has been a while since I reached out to many. I told a family member disconnection is rising and sadly, we only hear when someone has left us.

Some years ago an in-law passed on and it was shortly after l had a spiritual nudge to connect with her. She was already in the hospital and even though she may not have remembered me in her condition. It was not the point. The point is that my presence mattered more. I felt it was necessary to heed the inner voice I then reached out to her brother who connected me. So, just as I was planning to see her she sadly departed from us. I was shaken. I learned to act upon the inner voice of the holy spirit immediately or as soon as possible.

Just over a week ago, I began writing about this specific issue over time, and by God's. Today at a women's meeting I was reminded that much healing is needed and that our discernment is key and we might be the very presence required in someone's time of need..

Jesus prophetically sensed every emotion others were going through spiritually This is the same spirit we are gifted with. We are one in the spirit as Christians.

Mary and Martha's emotions were connected to Jesus at this time of loss it was more evident spiritually because of their love for Lazarus and their relationship. Lazarus.

Jesus had the right words to comfort those in all types of pain. We notice how when we receive the word it touches us and blesses us within our spirits.

The majority of the time Jesus was on earth, he went through a series of secret pain, suffering, trauma, and trials. He would then rise most days carry on with the disciples and go about his ministry pretty much like he was unaffected by the trials Jesus did not confide much in anyone except through prayer to his father in heaven.

To be mocked, tested, insulted, and betrayed to death leading to saving our souls. These are a range of traumas painful enough to cry out to God. The closest to him knew Jesus went through trials but maybe not enough to understand his innermost emotions.

Many biblical people who encountered Jesus were spiritually left spiritually rich. When we are spiritually rich and blessed we have everything that pertains to life.

The Lord shall through discernment connect us to those who have the wisdom and heart to mentor, nurture, and minister to us spiritually.
